And the rocket’s red glare!
The bombs bursting in air!
Gave proof through the night
That our flag was still there
Oh, say does that star-spangled banner yet wave
O’er the land of the free
And the home of the brave?

Every time I hear The Star Spangled Banner play, it is a reminder of the millions of American men and women that have, are, and will bravely serve our country. These Americans give us the freedom, liberty, and safety that we exercise daily. We owe every mile of highway, cup of coffee, and movie to these men and women that put the ideology of America ahead of their own personal safety. Our veterans bravely serve and protect each American honorably regardless of race, creed, or religion. Each of us needs to do our part and be generous, be kind, and be better to each American regardless of race, creed, or religion.

On our most important freedoms is the right to freely select and vote on the leadership of this country. I am very proud of Global Shop Solutions for graciously and humbly accepting victory or defeat in the most recent election. Let’s celebrate a better America.

As gracious and humble as we are about the election, I invite each of you to proudly and energetically display your patriotism, love, and appreciation for all those that have and are serving. I invite you to say thank you, shake a hand, and give a hug if the opportunity presents itself. To quote a customer from New Zeland recently, “What would this world be like if American did not stand up for the world?”

Global Shop Solutions is privileged to employ many veterans, including my father Dick Alexander. I heartily thank them for their service.

Be safe, happy, and kind this weekend.

Push the Sled blog is written by Dusty Alexander, President & CEO of Global Shop Solutions, because no matter how good you get (at physical fitness, running a manufacturing business or being an ERP user) you can always work harder, get better, and be humble.
