Recently, Global Shop Solutions was invited to deliver a four-part presentation in the Precision Machined Products Association’s Technical Tuesday webinars on the new manufacturing environment and opportunities to be touchless.
The first installment of the series “Going Paper(less)” was hosted by our Senior ERP Consultant Brady Stevens. Stevens is an expert on implementing barcode and mobile technologies to help manufacturers make parts better and faster.
During the presentation, Stevens covered the software, hardware, shop floor, inventory and material management items needed to go paper(less) on the shop floor. He covered the benefits of focusing on removing paper from the shop as well as real-life examples of other manufacturers with real results of more automation, better time tracking, more efficiency and more accurate inventory control.
