Ownership

Founded in 1976 by Dick Alexander, Global Shop Solutions’ ownership remains in the hands of the Alexander family - an unparalleled achievement in today's environment where software companies are bought and sold repeatedly. As a result, Global Shop Solutions customers enjoy a level of stability unmatched in the software industry. Six members of the Alexander family work in the company. Alexander’s son Dustin, who has been with the company since 1990, became president in 2006. Dick Alexander remains active in the business as chairman/founder.

Our Campus

The Global Shop campus encompasses two buildings on three and one-third acres in The Woodlands, TX, approximately 30 miles north of downtown Houston. The site was chosen to provide Global Shop customers, consultants, and prospects with easy access to Bush (Houston) Intercontinental Airport. The location also affords Global Shop’s visitors and employees with a wide variety of restaurants and other amenities. Global Shop’s campus is constructed to state-of-the art technology requirements. It also houses Global Shop University for new customer classroom instruction.
